Oswestry

Oswestry town centre

Natural stone paving has been carefully cut and laid on footway and also a stepped plinth, intended as a base for the return of an historic water pump, originally located at the same position.

Areas of strenghtened footway are needed for the occasional (early morning) heavy delivery vehicles, while retaining the same level as the surrounding footway. Its full width is used during normal shopping times.
